Christmas Vacation
Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Sunday 14 December , and at 12 noon from Monday 15 to Friday 19 December inclusive.
Chapel services will resume with Morning Prayer at 7:40 am and mass at 8:00 am on Monday 12 January 2009.

Weekays at Pusey House
MASS is celebrated EVERY WEEKDAY at 8.00 a.m., and a light breakfast is available afterwards.
Morning Prayer is said daily at 7.40 a.m., and Evening Prayer is sung at 5.00 p.m.
On Wednesday evenings at 9.00 p.m., Night Prayer (Compline) is sung, followed by a time of quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, concluding with Benediction. The Supper Club meets in the Frederic Hood Room at 7.30 p.m. Please see Alexandra Vinall (Wadham) for details.

Michaelmas Term 2008
On Monday 6 October services resume with Morning Prayer at 7:40 a.m., Mass at 8:00 a.m. and Evening Prayer at 5 p.m. The first High Mass of Michaelmas Term is at 11 a.m. on Sunday 12 October when the preacher will be Father Barry Orford.

Michaelmas Term 2008
From Monday 15 September to 18 September there will be a conference in the House to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the Oxford Movement.
From Monday 15 September to Sunday 5 October mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Sundays and at 12 noon Monday to Friday in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The Library will be open by appointment only.

Long Vacation 2008
From Thursday 19 June to Wednesday 25 June inclusive the House will be closed while the Chapter lead a pilgrimage to Bec Abbey in Normandy.
From Thursday 26 June to Friday 25 July, and Monday 15 September to Sunday 5 October mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Sundays and at 12 noon Monday to Friday in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The Library will be open by appointment only.

Ascot Priory
On the last Sunday of Full Term (15 June)the High Mass is celebrated at Ascot Priory, home of the religious community founded by Dr Pusey and Mother Priscilla Lydia Sellon.
A coach will leave the House at 10 a.m. prompt. The cost will be £5 payable to Father Davage. High Mass at 11.30 a.m. The preacher will be Canon Philip Ursell Warden of Ascot Priory: Sent Out. At 2.15 p.m. Procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. The coach will return to Oxford by 4.45 p.m. The Community will entertain us to Buffet Luncheon. You are asked to provide your own wine.

The preacher at High Mass on Friday 30 May will be Father Jonathan Beswick, Priest-in-Charge of St Barnabas and St Paul, Oxford. High Mass at 6.00 p.m., followed by Drinks and Strawberries in the Garden.

Baptism and Confirmation
James Fox was baptised and confirmed today by Andrew, Bishop of Ebbsfleet, during the High Mass of Pentecost. The sacrament of confirmation was also conferred on Phillip Gration.

The Ecumenical Society of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The Oxford branch of the ESBVM will meet at Pusey House on Thursday 8 May at 7.30 p.m.
Stratford and Leonie Caldecott of the Centre for Faith & Culture will speak on Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary in the poetry of G K Chesterton and G M Hopkins.

Sunday 16 March at 10:30 am: Blessing of Palms at S. Frideswide, Botley Road, followed by Procession to and High Mass at S. Thomas the Martyr, Becket Street. (On this day there will be no public services in Pusey House Chapel.)
Monday 17 March at noon: Mass & Address (on the Rites of Maundy Thursday)
Tuesday 18 March at noon: Mass & Address (on the Rites of Good Friday)
Wednesday 19 March at noon: Mass & Address (on the Rites of the Easter Vigil)
The Bishop of Ebbsfleet will celebrate the Mass of the Chrism in Pusey House Chapel on Tuesday 18 March at 7.30 pm
The Principal and Chapter will celebrate the TRIDUUM SACRUM at Ascot Priory.
The House re-opens on Monday 14 April and the first High Mass of Trinity Term will be on Sunday 20 April at 11 a.m. when the Preacher will be The Principal.

SEARCHING THE SCRIPTURES: REFLECTIONS FOR LENT
On Wednesday evenings from 6 February to 5 March inclusive, Father John Hunwicke, Parish Priest of St Thomas the Martyr and Senior Research Fellow of Pusey House, will lead a series of reflections for Lent, following the Supper Club at 7.30 p.m. and concluding with Compline and Benediction at 9.00 p.m.
