Biography
Frederick Frostwick began his musical career as a chorister at Westminster Abbey before attending Bryanston School with a music scholarship, where he began his organ studies under Graham Scott.
After leaving school, Freddie was organ scholar at St Paul’s Within the Walls Church, Rome, before completing a degree in Classics at the University of St Andrews. There, he held an organ scholarship, with duties accompanying the choir for weekly services, live broadcasts, and recordings. In 2023 and 2024, Freddie toured with the University Chapel Choir to locations across France and the Netherlands, performing at venues including Bourges Cathedral and the Grote Kerk of Wijk bij Duurstede.
Freddie is currently studying for a master’s degree at the University of Oxford, where he is the Assistant Organist of Keble College. Freddie is an associate of the Royal College of Organists and has performed recitals at venues including the Caird Hall, Dundee, and the Basilica Notre-Dame de Thierenbach. In 2025, Freddie will tour with the Keble College Chapel Choir to venues across the far-east.
In his free time, Freddie is an experienced horseman and a keen skier. When not in the saddle or on the slopes, his next favourite place to be is with friends enjoying good food and wine.
