
Biography
Rudyard Cook is an organist, pianist and cellist currently in his second year studying Music at the Queen’s College, Oxford, where he is the Senior Organ scholar. Rudyard is currently studying organ with Stephen Farr and has previously learnt with James Orford and David Goode. He also is active as a collaborative pianist and regularly plays for the Eglesfield Music Society. As a cellist, Rudyard is the principal of the Oxford University Orchestra and Oxford University Sinfonietta, having studied with Sue Lowe and Joely Koos. Rudyard has recently started directing New Chamber Opera, last term in Pepusch’s Venus and Adonis and more recently in a concert of three Bach cantatas. This term he is also directing the Oxford Baroque Players and will be putting on a concert of Baroque concertos later in the term.
